This is something many of us desire, especially in the middle of the night when you're deep in a night-owl work session or have woken up for a midnight trip to the kitchen or bathroom. Instead of having to turn on the lights or even depending on outlet-mounted night lights, lining your windows and doors gives you beautiful gentle lighting and easy guides to get around the house.

For some, the idea of lining windows and doors with strip lights is especially delightful. You may love the way your home looks when outlined with lines of light and even color. Take the natural pleasing architecture of your home and enhance it with accent lights that are both useful and flattering. However, if you want your home to be more versatile and accessible to those who don't share your smart home account (or future buyers) then dimmer switches are the approachable choice that everyone can use and enjoy.
